On Chistmas day, we went down to my mothers house and had dinner.
Carol brought some friends from work, David and Swan.
Both had recently moved to the area from the Washington D.C.
Luckily, getting down to Mom's was a snap.
It had warmed up on Christmas eve, and the roads were clear of snow and mostly bare.
Here you'll notice the usual "sitting around the table" shot that Dad used to take.
Only difference, with the digital camera I can get this posted fast enough that we still remember the event.
No more attempting to guess which holiday meal, which year by intuiting from wardrobe, seating placement, etc.
